Rooms, residents and money in one place
Allocations, reservations and every shilling received sit on the same record, so the front desk and the office are never reading two different books.
Every entry carries a name
Payments, corrections and refunds are recorded against whoever signed in and approved them. The ledger only ever adds a line, it never quietly rewrites one.
It fits the screen in your hand
The same screens work on a phone at the counter and on the computer in the office, so nothing has to wait for somebody to reach a desk.
